What does the energy label indicate?

If you buy a lamp, you will always see an energy label on it. But what does it really mean?
The different types of incandescent lamps, halogen lamps, energy-saving lamps, fluorescent lamps, and LED lamps must have an energy label. The energy label indicates how energy efficient a lamp is.

What does the label look like?

What does the label look like
At the top of the label, the name of the supplier and his name are indicated. Below, you see the class in which the lamp is. If you use lamps with an A ++, A + or A label, you save energy. At the bottom of the label, you see the energy consumption, expressed in kWh per 1000 hours. LED lamps almost always fall into class because they are the most energy-efficient lamps. Halogen lamps usually fall into class C or D, while incandescent lamps fall into E or F. Classes E and F will eventually disappear because incandescent bulbs are no longer produced.
